Commercials I hate: Secret

So I was enjoying my Law & Order: SVU/CI Marathons over the weekend except for the commercials; which is fine, it's cable TV. However, there was one commercial that hit a nerve and not a good one. It's a commercial for Secret (no, not the lame take over the universe book), the whole strong enough for a man but women have special needs so it's for chicks deodorant. So the commercial is about a girl going around New York showing off her arm pits. It's so annoying and so lame that I kept hoping she was going to be the victim on the next episode of SVU. I can't find the commercial on yt; however, I found a mock of it that is actually quite amusing:

This girl is very clever for the mockumentary of the commercial, well done Sally!
So in short, see the commercial once to appreciate the yt clip then boycott Secret deodorant until they fire their advertising firm and the actress is put in jail for crimes against humanity.

Megan & Her Damn Book Club

( Book Clubs would be better if they read Dr. Funke's books.)

Lunch with friend is usually a joyful time for one and all. Most people tend to be filled with anticipation and excitement in meeting their friends, discussing their offspring, drama, denim, and what not. However; this is not the case of one Megan Meldrum (http://www.inthebananastand.com/) who was seduced by the thrills of Book Club. She left her loved ones behind to ride with the anarchies of printed words. Let me say this about book clubs: It's AA without the addiction. You sit around discussing books and express your feelings about them. “When I realized The Secret (Yes, that lame give to the universe & it gives back book) was bringing me closer with the world, I felt at ease; not only with myself, but with the world around me. And I got a yacht.” Let me tell you what the real secret is here: You’re a looser and you’re going to die alone! (Well, not Megan, she’s married with a child) but that’s beside the point! I don’t need group therapy to tell me if a book is good or not. I can figure that out after page 10. Besides being linked in the therapy session from Naraku, what books are they reading? Oprah is a business women, her job is to sell herself and things to you. Reading Oprah’s book of the month doesn’t make you informed, it makes you a sheep. “Baaaaa means no!” If you wanna run with the book club gang, fine, be punk. But dog out on the people who helped raise you and pretty soon, this poof’s gonna be in your face!
